ACADEMIC ARENA GAMES

Student athletes and students of the performing artists get a lot of support from the public. "Yay! Stay in there!" But student of Math and Science get little or support from the public.

Athletes and entertainers do not contribute one new panny to the Economy, while many mathematicians and scientists do. But Freeloading seems to be the American way.

To be fair, part of the problem is that the public doesn't understand what the hell math and science students are doing.

The Computer Industry has thrived on computer games for kids and kidadults. Can some of this planning and technology be directed toward "Academic Arena Games", wherein students do some honest math or science -- projected in a gamelike way?
