Thou shalt not say, "You're a bad boy!" Or, "You're a bad girl!" You're ATTRIBUTING badness to a child, on a level with treeness or dirtness, etc.

Rather, speak about the child's current behavior, which is a PROCESS, hence, labelled by a gerund. "You're bading!"

And thou shalt never speak of "The Blind", "The Deaf", "The Disabled", etc. Rather, "blind people", "deaf people", "disabled people", etc. A person with a physical or behavioral "problem" doesn't wish to be LABELLED by it.

WE ARE THE ROLES WE PLAY AND THE DECISIONS WE MAKE!!!

I play the ROLES of HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, TEACHER, CITIZEN, etsettery.

Underneath or behind all these and other ROLES is THE ACTOR with a UNION CARD (i.e. Social Security Card, listing "John Hays").
