When the columnist Mary MacGrory, was asked in November, 2000, if strident denunciatory voices would be quelled, she said they might if "adults speak up".

By the "we" above, I mean we who are adults and not psychiatrically impaired. We seemed to have allowed this faulty election process to prevail and fester. And only when we adults speak up about it and demand a pefected voting process will this change.

It is our duty as Citizens of a Republic to do so, and to do otherwise is to remain derelict!
