Women have been neglected and suppressed in Western society for centuries, but began to
receive some of their rights in the 20th century and up to now. But they exhibit no effective
strategy for changing their status. I have many files online attesting to this:
- The online spartacus Website has 33 files explaining why women hesitate to achieve.
- My online Momma poem explais why history is not herstory.
- The above poem was inspired by the life and work of the great German-American mathematician,
Emmy Noether (`1882-1935). (After her untimely death, from a simple appendectomy, her admirer,
Albert Einstein, arranged to have her obituary appear in The New York Times.) Her work is
still on the frontiers of mathematics and mathematical physics, but Noether is mostly ignored by
the feminist movement and mostly unknown to girl students. There should be an Emmy Noether Club
in every school to encourage girls in mathematics.
- The online gendot Website explains that this digital era should favor women
over women, but women seem unaware of this, so are not taking advantage ot it. In contrast to
the standard quasi-axiomatic presentation of arithmetic -- which favors boys -- there is
a generative presentation which (since it parallels language-learning) favors girls and
relates to this digital movement -- but is ignored!
- The online Christina's World (a memorial to my late disabled wife, Esther Odell Hays
(1920-2000)), deals with the problems of disabled women, but receives littl attention from women
online.
- The online Memorial (a memorial to my late disabled wife, Esther Odell Hays (1920-
2000)), deals mostly with the life, activities, and created work of Marguerite d'Angouleme (known
as Marguerite of Navarre), called "The Mother of the French Reneaissance" and rperesentative both
of the Renaissance and The Reformation, a woman who mediated between Roman Catholics and
Protestants (6 wars occurred after her death), but is almost entirely ignored by the feminist
movement day. (An online list of 100 most famous women does not list her!)
Ignoring strategy is itself an ASTRATEGEM.
