Norbert Wiener (x-y) warned us about this 47 years ago. After his book, Cybernetics (concerning AUTOMATION) appeared in 1948, Wiener was criticized for writing too difficult a book. So he wrote a popular book on the same subject, The Human Use of Human Beings. This book made me aware of the above theses.

During the years ending the 20th century, in this country, an effort was made to get millions of (standard) Welfare. What can be done to get more millions off technological welfare? Do you have any ideas to offer?
