KARL MENGER ON "CALCULUS"

Czech-American Karl Menger (x-y) made many contributions to mathematics. (This dictionary refers you to "Menger's Theorem" in The Academic Press dictionary, ONLINE.)

Menger's delightful little book, Calculus, long ago taught me that Newton's teacher at Camnbridge U. gave Newton's the ideas for the differential and integral calculus.

This book contains the ideas which lead to my "futesatefu" model in the present dictionary.

Menger's book, "The Algebra of Analysis" contains his comment about "the language of calculus".
