legitimate authority to maintain educational standards and the welfare
of students. I was denied that right.

A student has the right to a legitimate faculty with adequate guidance facilities. I was
denied that right.
A student has the right to choose (under guidance) his or her major. I was
emphatically denied that right.
A student has the right to an adviser in his or her MAJOR. I was denied that
right for all of my 4 years at Columbia.
A student has the right to proper representation by a legitmate Student Council.

A student has the right to expect that a course he signs for bears some resemblance to the course described in the university
or college catalog. I was denied that right.
A student has the right to expect that the Final Exam of a course concern material which was given during the lecture hours of the
course. I was denied that right.
